We’re pleased to say that commissioning of the newly installed main at Henfold Drive is now complete, and the main is fully in service.

Thank you again for your continued patience and cooperation while we carried out these works.

17 April 2026

The main installation works at Henfold Drive are now complete. From 20 April, we’ll be returning to carry out minor defect corrections, which are expected to take no longer than two weeks.

We appreciate your patience while we complete these final activities.

6 March 2026

The work along Henfold Drive is now in the testing phase. This is an important stage of the project, where the new pipe is checked to ensure it’s safe and ready to supply drinking water.

Once testing has been completed, the final stages of the project will include:

  • Connecting individual properties to the new water main
  • Connecting the new pipe into the existing network
  • Taking the older section of main out of service

Henfold Drive – mains renewal 

As part of SES Water’s programme to improve the long-term reliability of your drinking water supply, we will be replacing 948 metres of the existing water main on Henfold Drive.

Properties along the route will be connected to the new main, after which the old pipe will be safely taken out of service to complete the upgrade.
