The Run Reigate Half Marathon offered a range of races alongside food, drinks, entertainment and water, courtesy of SES Water, to participants and families on Sunday 20 September.
SES Water sponsored the event and provided drinking water in biodegradable paper cups to over 5000 runners and spectators with water refill stations placed along the route.
Participants, many of which completed the run for charity, could choose to take on a 1.1 mile Kid Race, 5K or 10K race through the beautiful Priory Park.
Every finisher received a commemorative medal and goodie bag, with trophies going to the winners of first, second and third places for each distance.
Simon Dickson, participant and SES Water colleague, said: "Run Reigate was a brilliant event and one I always enjoy being part of. There is always great support from the crowd and other runners. I enjoy running and it was great to represent SES Water and be part of such a positive community event."
The SES Water engagement team were also on hand to talk to people about funding, offer free water saving devices, and answer water-saving or bill related questions.
There were four SES Water stations along the half marathon route as well as five ‘Cheer Stations’ scattered along the trial, full of friends and family cheering on runners and keeping morale and hydration high.
